When I visited Lucknow in 1997, Krishna Kumar was one of several sarangi accompanists employed by the Bhatkhande Sangeet Mahavidyalaya (Music College). I spent an afternoon with him at his home on July 14th. He shared some beautiful things with me, impressing me both with his thoughts about music and with the delicacy of his purab ang sarangi style.
