
Named after the co-founder of the Gwalior Gharana, Hassu Khan was a beautiful and tragic figure who I met at the hole-in-a-wall tabla-making shop of Rosin Ali in Banaras. I filmed him demonstrating various styles on my sarangi, showing that he had once been an impressive player.
